SciFest Success

Well done to all students who represented LCC at SciFest held in TUS,Athlone on April 9th. We are indeed very proud of each student who put so much work and effort into their projects. This effort was amply rewarded on the day with our students winning many of their categories.

Congratulations to Ronan Lyons who won Best Project Award for his project which was entitled

CAPILL:Compliance Aid Promoting Independent Living Long-Term. Ronan also won every category which included

Boston Scientific Medical Devices Award

Intel Technology Award

1ST Place Senior Technology Award.

Ronan now represents LCC at the National SciFest finals to be held in Dublin next November.

Well done also to Joice Jiju and Sebastian Cummins who won the Boston Scientific Medical Devices Runner- Up Award for their project entitled

Awar: Advance Warning Auditory Response.

A fantastic achievement for our students and their teachers,they all are indeed great ambassadors for our school.
